Pip Studio Publisher
The private publishing tool behind Pip's Dino Diary, an English-language animated YouTube channel that teaches children aged 4–8 about dinosaurs.
What it does
Every episode of Pip's Dino Diary is written, voiced and animated by the channel's own production pipeline, and approved by the channel owner before it is rendered. Pip Studio Publisher is the last step: it uploads finished episodes to the channel through the YouTube Data API v3.
- Uploads each video as private with a scheduled publish time at least 24 hours ahead.
- Marks every video as made for kids, as required by the channel's audience.
- Sets the title, description, tags, category, thumbnail and English captions, and adds the video to the right playlist.
- Reads the video back from YouTube to confirm that the privacy status, schedule and made-for-kids setting are correct.
The channel owner then reviews the private video on YouTube before it goes public.
Who can use it
Pip Studio Publisher is not a public service. It runs only on the channel owner's computer, there is no sign-up, and it only works with the Pip's Dino Diary channel. It does not access other people's accounts and collects no information about viewers.
